IRJE #3 The subtler sort of not giving a f*** by Mark Maison

This is an excellent book for persons that want to improve in yourself; this book makes me realize that you don’t need anyone’s opinion to interfere with you. This book also makes me realize that you decide in what you suffer and how you do not need to care about stupid stuff.

Everybody wants that. It’s easy to want that. A more interesting question, a question that most people never consider, is, “What pain do you want in your life? What are you willing to struggle for?” Because that seems to be a greater determinant of how our lives turn out.Pg.36

I will recommend this book to everyone.

PR – Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde

The strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is a famous story. In my personal opinion, I think this story was dark and kind of gothic. I like the story; I think it gives a lot of really detailed and specific moments. For me the story is an 8/10. It was really interesting. This was a cool story that I will recommend for everyone. I enjoyed reading this book.

 

Personal Response “The Crismas Carol”

I rate the Christmas carol a 7/10. It’s a classic story. I didn’t enjoy reading this book, but it was an assignment, so I was forced to do it, but in the end, everything helps to improve. This book made me get a little bit lost in the story because it was a little bit difficult for me because it changed from scenario really radically, and it had a lot of jokes that I didn’t understand, but this was a good book I will recommend for an intermediate level of reading.

Pw#6 Last time I see the snow Part 3

We got to the parking station, and then the school took us to the rental ski, so I got my skis, and I went with Mariano, Sebas, and Paolo to a green trail. When we got down, we didn’t know that we were in the blue and black diamond trails, so we first panicked. We were getting down in the blue trail when Paolo crashed into a tree. We were screaming to him because we noticed that he went to the tree. We were 7 meters down the hill, and he was in the peak, and we were already down, so we kept screaming to him for like 20 minutes. So I went to help him to get out of there. When we found Barbara, she was with Mia, but when Mia saw the hill, she panicked, and she stayed with Paolo.

Pw#5 Last time I see the snow Part 2

We get to the bus, and I tell Eva, Do you want to go with me, partner? and she said yes; we have less than 10 minutes on the bus. When I was feeling dizzy, I told Paolo because he was in the back seat, so he gave me a Cheetos bag that was just open, and I told Eva,Eva, move to the front seat because I’m going to throw up, so she moved, and when she got to her seat, I vomited in the Cheetos bag that Paolo gave me, and then I got to sleep in the bus seat, and when I woke up, I was near the snow.

Pw#3 Last time I see the snow Part 1

First I got up at 3:30 am because Paolo told me that he was going to get up at that hour to go down to the DH to have breakfast, but when I went to knock on his door, no one answered, so I waited like ten minutes when Isac came to wake us up because the school told us that we needed to be at 4:15 downstairs because we were leaving for Mnt. Washington, so I went down, but no one was there, so I waited like 5 minutes until I started to see more people in DH, and then I went there. I was talking with Alexa, and then all the people from the dorms came downstairs to DH. When we realized what hour it was, we went to the bus.

PW#2 My favorite food

My favorite food, well, I don’t know. The thing is that I don’t have a favourite dish of food because I really like a lot of them. But the food plates that I like the most are tacos because they are part of my culture, also because the flavour that makes the meat and the tortilla together makes an excellent combination. I also like spaghetti bolognese; I really enjoy eating spaghetti. Is the sauce and the pasta are perfect. I like it because they remind me to my grandma for the reason that when I was smaller, my grandma used to make me spaghetti, and she makes me very happy.

PW#8 My favorite song

My favourite song is Culpable o no; this is a song sung by Luis Miguel Gallegos. This is my favourite song because it makes me have a really strong feeling. Luis Miguel has a really strong voice, and I have never ever heard any singer that gets to his level. The song talks about how her love cheated on him; he also talks about how he wants her and how he needs to get over on her. You can find this fantastic song in his album Busca una Mujer.

PW#7 Why I’m exited because of the ski trip

I really wanted to go on the ski trip. I wanted to go with my friends and have a new and good experience skiing! Not only that, but I would like to go to many ski slopes. For some friends, it will be their first time skiing or snowboarding, but I prefer to ski rather than snowboard. I have been gone like 10 times to ski in winter. I’m really excited to go.

This book is named Surrounded by Idiots: The Theory of Human Behaviour and How to Effectively Communicate. It was written by Thomas Ericson. In this part of the book, they are explaining the different perspectives of the different cultures and helping you understand how different we are. And the meaning of the four humors.

Humoral pathology, or the theory of the four humours or four bodily fluids, has to do with the four temperaments. According to Hippocrates, our temperament is the fundamental way we react. It’s our behavior or our natural frame of mind. Our temperament controls our behavior. Hippocrates believed that your health is good when the four humors—blood, yellow bile, black bile, and phlegm—are in balance. When we vomit, cough, or sweat, for example, the body is trying to rid itself of one or more of these substances. The word chloe comes from Greek and means “yellow bile.” Therefore, a choleric person is controlled by yellow bile or the liver. Fiery and temperamental, choleric people sometimes frighten those around them with their powerful ways. “Choleric” can be translated as “hot-blooded.” (p. 225).

I choose this part because it was fascinating how the humors are related to body fluids. This paragraph is really important because it teaches you how does the four humors work.

Master and Man Introduction

Master man by Leo Tolstoy, I really don’t like the book of Master Man. In my opinion, this story was burning. First, I didn’t like the story; it wasn’t interesting. I think this novel was huge. I try to concentrate on the story, but all the story is mixed; anything is happening at the same time. Nikita always discusses alcohol and his alcoholic problems. For me, Vasily is too selfish.

My introduction

Hi, My name is Diego, and I am 14 years old. I was born on September 3rd, 2024. I am from Guadalajara, Mexico. We are 4 in my family. When I was little, I lived some years in Mexico City When I turn 3 years old, we move to Guadalajara, where all my family is from. Then my brother was born when I was 3 years old. Last year I moved to my new house. We get another dog; we already have 3, and now I have 4. The races of the 4 dogs are Golden Retriever, Goldendoodle, French Pound, and another with no race.

Pw#1 Places that I want to visit

Some of the places that I want to visit are Italy, France, and London. I am interested in visiting Italy because of their style of clothing and architecture. Another thing that I want to eat in Italy are the pastas and also the gelato. I would like to visit France because of some monumental places like the Eiffel Tower, the museums, and also to see some art. The other thing I would like to do is see the profiles of the fashion brands. What I want to do in France is eat the croissants and hot chocolate. I want to visit London because of the stores, some monuments, and some other things.

Pw#4 : The golf course

Last weekend I went to play golf to Olympic View with Mia Mishell, Sofi, and Eva. First we wait for Mia and Eva because they were not ready to go. We wait for them like 1 hour. Next we go to the stop, and we cannot take the bus because it has already left. The next stop is going to arrive like in an hour, so we decide to take an Uber. We wait for the Uber like have an hour, and when the Uber finally arrives, the surprise is that it was all dirty with Cheetos in the floor with a nasty smell. When we were like 100 meters away from arriving, the Uber told us that he was going to charge us more money, so we tell him to stop and leave us in an hour so we decide to take an Uber we wait the Uber like have an hour and when the Uber finely arrive the surprise was that It was all dirty with Cheetos in the floor with a nasty smell, When we were like a 100m to arriving the Uber tell us that he was going to charge us more money so we tell him to stop and leave us in. the road, then we walk like 15m to get to the golf course, so we enter the golf shop to make the reservation, and they give us the reservation for the golf course at 2:18pm, and it was 1:20, so we went to eat at the club restaurant. I ordered pasta and a crème Brulé, and when we finished, we went to play some holes. In the first one I didn’t hit the ball correctly, so I tried another time, and the second one was better; the second one I hit the ball perfectly. We played 4 holes because we needed to come back before 6 p.m. because at that hour was our curfew to stay in the street, so we waited for the Uber to come. This one took like 15 minutes to arrive at the course and get us to the school.

”Our Town ” Personal Response

In Our Town by Thornton Wilder, we see some emotions in the act. This is a play that if it wasn’t of Mr.MacKnight I will never know about it. In my opinion, this is not my kind of book that I would rather read. I didn’t like this play because I don’t really like to read them, I prefer to read other things more interesting. The only part I enjoyed was that I got to sleep like two times, watching the movie. Although I’m Mexican and my English is not good, For me, this play is like about 3.2 stars. In this play I see some feelings as love, happiness, when the story progresses the story becomes more intense. One of the parts I like were the part when she gets merry.

IRJE#1 The Monk who sold his Ferrari

In the first chapter, The story starts with Julian Mantle, a successful lawyer, that was experience a life with crisis after having a heart attack. That event force him to evaluate his life choices. He discovers that his wealth and status and also his unhappiness.

In the second chapter, Julian decides to leave his carrier. He also travels to India, there he meets a group of monks. He learns about the importance of the inner peace and mindfulness.

In the third chapter, Julian is introduced to a monk who shares to him about life, happiness, purpose, and personal maestry. Also, the monk teaches him the real happiness. Besides, he teaches him how to stay focused and have a balance life.
