The Lightning Thief
Rick Riordan
105 pages
Percy was just a normal kid, going to school, playing basketball and skateboarding. Well not really, he actually didn’t know that he is a half-blood, the son of a Greek God. In the first part of the book, Percy didn’t have any clue that his father is a Greek God, until the time has come where he has to be sent on a camp. A camp where only immortals can be safe, people as the same as Percy, as a half-blood. Now that he has been sent on a camp, he learned who he really is, not just a normal boy. He learned that his father was a Greek God, that he is strong as his father is. Well, I didn’t finish this book yet, but base on the difference of the movie and book, the book is longer and more detailed. But actually it is kind off the same as the movie.
I like how the author wrote this book, it is easy to understand and it is written. This book is base on Gods and myths, well some people don’t really believe in those myths, people just think its just nothing, not true, and an author just made it more interesting. But as my opinion, I actually like those kind off stories base on Gods.
Even though I am still not done with this book, so far I like it. It is really interesting and it makes me want to read more and more. If I have to choose between the book and the movie, I think both are great. I really like the story, and how it is well-written by the author. After I finish this book, can’t wait to read the second one.

Haha I thought the book was better than the movie… Was impressed and yet disappointed at the same time (for the movie). Just wasn’t what I thought it would be
