Hello everyone,
I think you’ll be pleased to know that we have been named on a list of great school blogs, as part of the Edublogs blog challenge. It works something like a chain letter: each recipient nominates another ten blogs. Judging will occur “later this year”. The following message came as a comment on one of my posts:
I am pleased to inform you that you have been chosen for an award. Burton’s Scholars presents you with The “Blog Chain – Pass it on” Award. Your blog has been named as one of ten blogs that I am “passing on” for others to follow.

So many thanks to Mrs. Burton, and congratulations to all of you!
UPDATE
More congratulations, this time for the ‘Names & Faces’ project. Mrs. Grace White, who teaches in the United States, has this reaction:
I have to say WOW! What fine examples of writing authentically, and with a purpose in mind. . . . Please share my compliments with both your students as well as with the support staff involved. Great school community synergy. Lovely work!
And from Tom Thompson, a university professor who teaches teachers:
This is so good on so many levels. Kudos to you and your students!
