Steal Away

214 pages

The story is about two women who are trying to escape from the south of the US to the north of the US. One of them is Susannah, which is an orphan send to live on a plantation with her uncle and aunt. And the anther girl is called Bethlehem, she is a slave and she wants to be free. The two girls decided that there is a better life waiting for them in the north where they can be best friends and leave without horrible rules and beatings.

About the author I think she is capable to write really well, because since she was young she knew that she is going to be an author and she spend most of her time reading or hanging out side with friends creating ides for her books that she was going to write. And basically I think that made her a good author and helped her to write more real.

About the book I think it is really good book for the reason cause it is adventures and I like adventure very much. Also I like the story that the book is trying to teach us which is like in the book Susannah is a white girl and Bethlehem is a black girl and they both leave in very different societies that hate each anther, but still they become really good friend. And about the author I think she writes really well and she points out the things in the books that are important and makes us think more about who we actually are and what should we do to make our world a better place.
