Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy by Ally Carter is the second book in the series about Cameron Morgan. Cammie goes to the Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women, but what most people don’t know, is that it’s actually a school for spies. It is an all girls school that train girls to hack into the hardest security systems, how to blow up cars, or sneak into houses. Everything at the school is top secret, and no one outside the Gallagher Academy is allowed to come inside the big mansion. Therefore, when boys from another spy whom they didn’t even know existed suddenly appears at the school to stay, things starts getting strange.
I really liked this book, and I couldn’t stop reading it! It always makes you wonder what’s going to happen next, what they’re going to do, and what choices Cammie is going to make! This book was very interesting, and I really enjoyed reading it.
However, I would say this book suits best for females, and personally I don’t think many males would enjoy reading this book. Additionally, I think it suites teenagers the best because the book is about teenage girls, which makes you able to easily relate to the main character. You also need to like love stories. However, the love in this book is kind of different from the usual stories, and at the end of reading the book you are left with a lot of questions about this.
