My book title is “Diary of a Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules”. It is a realistic fiction novel written by American cartoonist, Jeff Kinney. It is the second book in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. The book acts as a journal.
The story is mainly about Greg getting in troubles because of his older brother Rodrick. Greg is in grade 7 and he is the narrator of this book.
The part I enjoyed the most is the climax of this book. His older brother, Rodrick throws a party while his parents are away. He asks Greg to get some chairs and locks him in the basement. However their parents get home and soon find about a party last night. Even though he had nothing to do with it, he gets in trouble again.
I like this part the most because I have experienced similar situation. So I could recall the memory of the secret party I had with my friends.
I would like to recommend this book to people.
